Infinity Ward Loses Two More

Two more oblong-time employees of Infinity Ward have left the studio apartment, leaving the "deep bench" boasted of by Activision just a little bit shallower.

Fallout from the Eternity Ward-Activision enlargement continues: Late yesterday it was unconcealed that programmer Jon Shiring, who had been with the studio for six years, and designer Mackey McCandlish, an eight-yr veteran, had both same their farewells. "After most 6 old age at Infinity Ward, I resigned today," Shiring wrote on Twitter. "I'm incredibly proud of everything we accomplished and I'm going to miss everyone." McCandlish told the domain of his departure via Facebook.

Their resignations comes a week after those of result software technologist Francesco Gigliotti and design lead Todd Alderman, who had been at the studio apartment cardinal and eighter from Decatur years severally. A bit ironically, Activision said yesterday that in spite of its legitimate tussles with fired IW founders Jason West and Vince Zampella, it "looks forward to continuing to work with Infinity Hospital ward's late bench of established talent on exciting spick-and-span projects." That bench is starting to look a trifle shorter than IT used to.

Neither Shiring nor McCandlish commented connected their plans for the future only it was also revealed yesterday that West and Zampella had launched a current EA-allied venture known as Respawn Amusement, which is straightaway hiring. Coincidental timing? We shall see!
